Description

The last headset you'll ever buy

The Cane Creek 110 is the finest headset they make, and they back it with a 100% lifetime guarantee: if you don't love how it works and looks for as long as you own it, they'll replace it.

It's machined from 7075 aluminium with stainless steel Hellbender bearings, a low-friction upper seal and a double-lip crown race seal, finished in a high polish. Vital MTB's audience survey has voted it the #1 headset to buy eight years running.

The Inside Line:
Buy once, cry once. It's the headset you fit and then forget about for the next decade, and it looks so good you'll want to clean your bike just to admire it.

Features:

  • 100% lifetime guarantee
  • Stainless steel Hellbender bearings
  • Machined from 7075 aluminium
  • Low-friction upper bearing seal and double-lip crown race seal
  • Complete headsets or individual top and bottom assemblies

Notes:

  • Black only.
  • Fits without a Dirt Works part number are ordered in on request.
  • 110 headsets are hand-built in North Carolina, so special-order fits can take a little longer.

How to find your headset size:

  • Cane Creek use the S.H.I.S. code, e.g. ZS44/28.6 | ZS56/40. The part before the bar is the top of the headset, the part after it is the bottom.
  • The letters tell you how the cup sits: IS = integrated (the bearing drops straight into the frame), ZS = zero stack (a cup pressed inside the head tube), EC = external cup (the cup sits outside the head tube).
  • The first number is the head tube bore in mm (e.g. 44 or 56).
  • The second number is the steerer size it fits: 25.4 or 26 = 1", 28.6 or 30 = 1-1/8", 33 = 1-1/4", 38.1 or 40 = 1.5" (tapered forks are 1-1/8" at the top and 1.5" at the bottom).
  • Most bike brands list the code on their spec sheet. If yours doesn't, check the Headset Code Breaker chart in the image gallery, or send us your bike's make, model and year and we'll find it for you.
