Description
Take the sting out of rough roads
The Cane Creek eeSilk Stem is a lightweight suspension stem for drop-bar bikes. Up to 20mm of tunable cushioning soaks up the chatter and hits that wear out your hands, shoulders and neck on gravel, endurance and adventure rides.
Two versions: the CS has a Compliance Switch to firm the stem up when you stand and sprint, and the cleaner SL leaves it out. Every stem comes with 3 elastomers of different firmness so you can tune the feel.
The Inside Line:
This is the cheapest suspension upgrade your gravel bike will ever get - and it still looks like a normal stem so your buddies will never know your shame.
Features:
- Up to 20mm of tunable suspension
- CS model: on-the-fly Compliance Switch (soft / firm)
- SL model: no switch, cleaner look
- 3 elastomer springs included
- Single-bolt external elastomer change
- Compatible with Chroma Studio faceplates and the Cane Creek Computer Mount
Notes:
- Start on the elastomer fitted at the factory, then go softer or firmer to suit.
Matching parts:
Spare eeSilk stem elastomers and service kits, colour Chroma Studio faceplates and the Cane Creek Computer Mount. Pair it with the eeSilk+ seatpost for the full smooth ride.
