The Cane Creek Hellbender 70 is their best-value stainless steel bottom bracket, built for riders who ride hard in all conditions and don't want constant maintenance. It's a genuine upgrade for road, gravel and MTB alike.

Inside are 440C stainless steel Hellbender bearings with tight dual-lip seals and waterproof marine-grade grease, held in machined aluminium cups - in Chroma Studio colours on the BSA threaded versions.

The Inside Line:
Gritty, creaky BB? This is the fix. Stainless bearings that laugh at poor weather, seals that keep the slop out, and a splash of anodised colour where your cranks meet the frame.

Notes:

Bottom brackets don't come with spacer kits.
Colours are BSA threaded only; T47, BB30 and PF41 are black.

How to choose your bottom bracket:

Shell: check your frame. BSA threaded is the common 68/73mm English thread; T47 is a larger thread (external cups for 68/73mm shells, internal for 86.5mm shells); BB30 and PF41/BB92/BB86 are press-fit shells.
Spindle: match your crank. 24mm = Shimano Hollowtech II, 29mm = SRAM DUB, 30mm = 30mm-spindle cranks such as Cane Creek eeWings.
