Bigger rotor? You'll need one of these

Hope's CNC-machined caliper mounts let you fit a Hope post mount caliper to just about any fork or frame, at just about any rotor size. Each mount has a letter, listed with the mount it adapts from and the rotor size it gets you to. PM = Post Mount, IS = International Standard, F = front, R = rear.

The Inside Line:
Going up a rotor size is one of the cheapest ways to add braking power. Getting the right adaptor is the bit that trips people up. Check your fork or frame mount type and the rotor size you want, then pick the matching letter. Not sure? Flick us a message and we'll sort you out.

Which Mount Do I Need?

Work out your fork or frame mount type using the Brake Mount Identification Chart.
Find the rotor size you want to run, and the matching mount letter, on the Brake Adaptor Mounts Chart.

Mount Types:

Post Mount: M6 threaded holes x2. Very common on MTB forks and the rear of most MTB frames
IS (International Standard): 6mm holes x2. Still found on old forks, more common on frames (IS rear)
Flat Mount: the road and gravel standard. Front uses M5 threaded holes, rear uses oblong holes for M5 screws

Notes:

A post mount caliper fits directly to a post mount fork or frame at its native rotor size. Use an adaptor to go larger
Post mount tab position varies between manufacturers. If in doubt, check with your fork or frame manufacturer
Mount A fits Mono Mini and X2 calipers only
Mounts C, F, M and P are not suitable for Mono6.
Mount K is not suitable for V2 or Mono6.
Mount Q is not suitable for V2
Hope have standardised on 180mm rather than 183mm rotors, but still make the H and J mounts for 183mm
