The Tech 4 E4 is the result of more than 25 years of Hope building hydraulic brakes, and it shows. A longer, reshaped lever delivers 30% more pressure than the Tech 3, while new low-friction seals and a lower spring rate give a lighter lever feel that saves your hands on long descents. Pair that with the four-piston E4 caliper and you get serious stopping power with buttery modulation, all CNC-machined in Hope's Barnoldswick factory.

Tool-free reach and bite point adjustment, a hinged bar clamp and improved shifter integration mean it's as easy to set up as it is to ride.

Technologies

Roller Bearing Pivot
The lever pivots on roller bearings rather than a plain bushing, cutting friction for a smoother, lighter pull that stays consistent ride after ride.

Hybrid Pistons
The E4 caliper uses stainless steel pistons with phenolic inserts. They glide more smoothly, need less maintenance and stop heat from soaking into the fluid, so performance stays consistent even on long, hot descents.
