Description

Pre-load without the star nut

The Intend Blackline Smarty is an expander plug that preloads your headset without hammering a star nut into the steerer. Choose the size to match your steerer's inner diameter.

The Inside Line:
No hammer, no drama, an alternative to using a star nut and an ideal solution if you like to swap between a stem top cap and running a tool in your steerer.

Features:

  • Steerer expander / headset preload
  • Sizes: 23.7-24.7mm or 22.2-23.7mm inner diameter
  • Blackline black anodised

Notes:

  • Measure your steerer's inner diameter before ordering.
  • Intend forks: Hero (24.5mm ID) / Edge, Flash (23mm ID). Ask us if unsure.
