Intend Elevator Dropper Post - 31.6mm

A dropper built like a suspension fork

The Intend Elevator is a high-pressure air dropper post designed with the same thinking as Intend's forks. Its party trick is Safe Space Technology: the bottom of the post is a sealed air chamber, so as the post drops, the trapped air builds gentle progression. You feel a soft cushion at the end of the stroke instead of a clonk.

Because the lower section is sealed rather than open to your frame, it doesn't pump air in and out of the seat tube. That's why many posts stall at 90% extension until you hit the lever again. Not this one. It's also why grease and frame grime can't mix inside the post.

It's oil-lubricated like a fork (not greased), self-bleeding, runs on double internal bushings with hand-polished surfaces, and handles off-axis loads without binding. Stroke is adjustable in 10mm steps from 190mm down to 100mm.
