Hope

Two aerospace engineers walk into a shed and come out with a disc brake. That's roughly how Hope got started in the late '80s, when founders Ian Weatherill and Simon Sharp built brakes for their own bikes and decided everyone else should have them too. Decades later, they're still in the same little Lancashire town of Barnoldswick, where virtually everything they sell is machined, anodised and assembled under one roof. Hubs, brakes, cranks, pedals, stems, lights, even complete bikes, all made by people who ride. Proper British engineering, built to outlast your excuses for not riding.
