Jagwire

Let's be honest, cables aren't sexy. Even Jagwire's own president has said so. But try riding without them. Since 1986, this family-owned company has been quietly making the cables, housing and hydraulic hoses that keep bikes shifting crisply and stopping on cue, and you've probably spotted their logo on bikes from some of the biggest brands around. These days they also make brake pads, rotors and the tools mechanics actually reach for. Not glamorous, just the stuff that makes everything else work. The unsung heroes of a smooth-shifting bike.
