The Cane Creek DB IL shocks give lightweight, efficient short-travel bikes more downhill capability and far more tuning range than a stock compact shock.

Air IL is Cane Creek's lightest shock, for bikes with 100-140mm rear travel and riders who value climbing as much as descending. Coil IL is the most compact, lightweight fully adjustable coil shock, for 120-140mm bikes, with a progressive spring that mimics the end-stroke support of air.

Coil IL is not recommended for clevis-style suspension designs - ask us to check your frame.

How to choose your shock size:

Shocks are sized by eye-to-eye length x stroke in mm (e.g. 210 x 55), and by mount type: Standard (eyelet at both ends) or Trunnion (the shock body bolts into the frame).
Your bike brand lists the size in the frame specs, or it's printed on your current shock. Use the shock guide in the image gallery.
