Cane Creek VALT springs are significantly lighter than standard steel coil springs, so you get the sensitivity and traction of a coil shock without carrying the extra weight.

Progressive-rate VALT springs give a true rising-rate curve: the "set and forget" feel of coil with the ramp-up that hard-charging riders and many modern frames need.

How to choose your spring:

Match the stroke to your shock's stroke (the spring stroke must be the same or longer).
The rate depends on your weight, your bike's leverage ratio and how you like it to feel. Use the chart in the gallery, or send us your bike, shock size and riding weight and we'll recommend a rate.
